Introduction

This web site is for people who drive or are interested in the wonderful Yamaha XJ series of motorcycles from 1980-86. It mainly applies to the four cylinder models all based around the same basic powerplant. These include the XJ550, 650, 700, 750 and 900 cc models. The XJ series of motorcycles are more commonly known as the Maxim and Seca especially in North America. Anyone interested in helping me out just E-mail me. I 'm looking for as much info as I can get on these bikes, especially tech tips and the history of the XJ's. For information on the XJ1100 check out the XS Eleven Enthusiasts Page it also has some tips that would work for other XJ's. Also for your XJ Turbo riders check out Z's Turbo page

I'm looking for any info on these bikes that I can find. I'm looking for reviews, info and specs on these bikes. I don't have any much on performance so if any of you guys (or gals) have old motorcycle magazines or brochures about the XJ I'd appreciate it if you could get me as much information (like 1/4 mile time, reviews, or max. Hp, etc.) as possible. If you think you're up to the task then maybe some of you could write up and send me some articles on your bike, like a review, a tech tip, or something cool that happened.
